Music of the American Civil War


The Oberlin Heritage Center welcomes presenter Timothy Krugman, a musician and Civil War re-enactor, who will weave together the role of music on the Civil War battlefield.

The Oberlin Heritage Center welcomes presenter Timothy Krugman. Tim will weave together the role of music on the Civil War battlefield, how the mood of the nation and song shifted over time, and perform using guitar, banjo, and voice. Krugman is a musician, Civil War re-enactor, and history aficionado from Elyria and will appear in Union uniform.
