During this crisis, we rely on our supporters more than ever to help us keep people safe and provide them with their most basic needs.
Here is a list of ways you can help: 1. Bring donations of cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, infant and toddler diapers and wipes, adult diapers to Oberlin Senior Center, 90 East College during our Pantry hours. 2. Paper goods and new or clean, gently used bedding and bath towels are being accepted at the Haven Center, 1536 East 30th Street, Lorain. 3. Check on your older neighbors as the effects of social isolation can be detrimental to their overall well-being. Please call 440-541-4676 for additional assistance. 4. Sew face masks for our clients and staff and drop off at either the Haven Center or the Oberlin Senior Center as listed above. 5. Prepare and deliver a meal to the Haven Center to help us feed our residents. 6. Join us on our virtual NEIGHBORHOOD WALK on April 25, 2020. Sign up is free on our website! You can walk from the safety of your own neighborhood or home. Neighborhood Alliance is doing everything we can to continue to serve our clients while protecting them and our team from COVID-19. While a large portion of the team can work from home and still provide great support to the community, some of our services must be provided in person, with face-to-face contact to some of those at highest risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19. We are taking every precaution necessary based on the recommendations of the CDC and Lorain County Public Health.
