Wet Felted Scarf Workshop

Short Description: In this workshop, you will learn to use wet felting to make a super-soft merino wool scarf .

Extended Description: (2 Video Sessions )Saturday, Nov 7, 9am-12pm and Sunday, Nov 8, 12pm-2pm. Felting wool is one of the oldest forms of textile craft, and can be learned by anyone. In this workshop, you will learn to make a super-soft merino wool scarf using wool, soapy water, bubble wrap, and your clothes dryer. Handmade wool scarves make a wonderful holiday gift and are fun to make! Options are available if you don’t have a dryer at home or would rather learn the old-fashioned method. Students should purchase their own supplies. A list of materials is available. Video sessions will be shared with participants via email.
