Extended Description: The Allen Memorial Art Museum is partnering with Oberlin College’s Counseling Center to continue a program started in our galleries, now hosted virtually. Focusing on a work from the Allen's collection, clinical therapist Libni López will lead the group through a mindful meditation. The sessions are open to anyone -- Oberlin College students, faculty, and staff, as well as members of the general public, and do not require any prior experience. Join us on the 4th Thursday of the month, 3:30-4:30pm. See the registration form [https://forms.gle/gPjsgRWyHZmAjNFVA] for dates and works of art for Spring 2021. You'll receive the Zoom link after registering. You need only register once -- we will be using the same Zoom link for each month's session. | Contact the education department at 440-775-8671 with any questions. | (Artworks: [1] Dawoud Bey (American, b. 1953), "Night Coming Tenderly, Black: Untitled #24" (At Lake Erie), 2017, Museum Friends Fund, 2019.17; [2] Koo Kyung Sook (Korean, b. 1960), "Invisible Torso #2," 2004.
