Root Beer & Yesteryear

October 3, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm | Oberlin Heritage Center

Short Description: Come one and all to the Oberlin Heritage Center grounds for an afternoon of root beer floats, popcorn, music, and games. The forecasted rain will not deter us - event is still on!!!

Extended Description: Saturday (10/2) Weather Update: We know there's a 50-50 chance of rain forecasted for Sunday. At this time, we are going to be optimistic and continue with the event. Please understand, activities described below may be limited or changed and you may want to bring rain gear if a sudden downpour occurs. We will - of course - have root beer floats!! The Oberlin Heritage Center will once again be hosting a fun afternoon for all ages! Play historic games at the Little Red Schoolhouse, listen to antique phonograph, view a Model T car (weather permitting), meet a Civil War soldier, and enjoy live music from local band the Front Porch Swatters. Enjoy a free root beer float - thanks to Oberlin IGA - and freshly popped popcorn. Social distancing is required and masks are requested when not enjoying refreshments. Volunteers needed! Please contact Liz Schultz at or (440) 774-1700 if you can help make this event possible!
