Short Description: Topics will include the properties of color, color schemes, color interaction, mixing paint colors, elements of form and approaches to composition. AGES 18+ Wednesdays Dec 1-Jan 26 (no class Dec 29)

Extended Description: Each week students will work on small non-representational paintings in acrylic on paper as they explore various topics related to color theory, two-dimensional design and painting with acrylics. Topics will include the properties of color, color schemes, color interaction, mixing paint colors, elements of form and approaches to composition. The opportunity for students to share their designs and discuss their process will be available during video sessions. Students will be responsible to provide materials (list available at favagallery.org/classes). Instructor: Jean Kondo Weigl.
